Welcome to Birnam Woodworks! I'm Nile Hawver; actor, musician, and rustic furniture maker. I grew up around twigs and bark- my dad, owner of Woodsmith Rustic Furniture, taught me everything I know. He's still going strong back home in Rhode Island, and I decided to "branch out" and run my own shop in Savoy, IL from October 2010-May 2012. Although I have closed up my shop (for now- I graduated and am moving back to the East coast), I am leaving the site up as a portfolio until I return to the workbench.This site is simply to provide some examples of and information about my work.
